Basic material:

The basic material of the Hypernova stones is stainless steel 440 with an HRC65 blade hardness.

Resistance and heat dissipation:

The stones are coated with a titanium layer to increase durability and heat resistance. The edges of the stones do not heat up during grinding, which will affect the overall durability and sharpness of the edges.

Grinding speed and consistency:

The grinding speed of titanium coated stones is slightly slower than that of ordinary stainless steel only stones. However, thanks to the features mentioned above and a slightly slower grinding, you will achieve a much better grinding consistency and distribution of individual coffee particles in the total amount of ground coffee.
