Basic material:

The basic material of the Hypernova stones is stainless steel 440 with a hardness of the blade HRC67.

Resistance and heat dissipation:

The stones are coated with a titanium layer and a layer of plasma applied by the thermal spray method to increase durability and heat resistance. The edges of the stones do not heat up during grinding, which will affect the overall durability and sharpness of the edges.

Grinding speed and consistency:

With two coatings and new "pre-bite" teeth technology, the Ultra stones are the highest and fastest class of Varia grinding stones.
