Endebess Estate is located in the northern part of Kenya's Ri Valley, not far from the market town of Kitale in Trans Nzoiya District. The Endebess Estate has approximately 758 hectares of total area, of which 248 hectares are under coffee. This naturally processed coffee is fully washed with fresh river water from the Koitobos River and then dried in the sun on African beds. It usually takes 21 to 28 days to dry, depending on the weather. The grains are turned at least four times a day.
The Ri Valley is home to the Cherang'any Mountains and a chain of volcanoes, some of which are still active. The Cherang'any Hills are one of Kenya's five major forests and watersheds and spread across three districts, namely Trans Nzoia, Elgeyo Marakwet and West Pokot. Endebess Estate is located at the foot of Mount Elgon, an extinct shield volcano on the border of Uganda and Kenya.
