Francisco's farm El Durazno is located at an altitude of 1700 m. His whole family is involved in the production of coffee of exceptional quality thanks to the control over all the processes from the collection to the drying of the coffee. Francisco tries to plant and cultivate new and interesting coffee varieties to achieve even higher quality - and he is undoubtedly succeeding. He has owned the farm for 13 years.
The Intibuca project also tries to focus on areas other than the majority interest of importers in the Santa Barbara area. The project brings together 60 producers from the Pozo Negro area, located in the municipality of Masaguara in Intibuca. These farmers have come together to form a group that meets to learn and share their knowledge. Every year they elect a chairman, who has been Wilmer Alexis Grau Montoya for several years. The aim of the project is to generally increase the quality of coffee from this area.
