Guatemala is a charming country rich in indigenous culture and breathtaking natural scenery. Its most prominent features include 37 volcanoes, several of which are still active. These volcanoes not only attract travelers, but also give Guatemalan coffee its unique characteristics. Antigua, one of the oldest coffee regions in Guatemala, is renowned for producing some of the best coffee in the world.
Established over 150 years ago, Medina Family Farm is located on the outskirts of Antigua. Medina Farm focuses on using advanced technology in coffee production and processing processes, such as their comprehensive irrigation system, while maintaining traditional practices. Committed to sustainability, the farm places great emphasis on the well-being of its employees, caring for the environment and producing the highest quality coffee. This commitment is ensured through a professional laboratory that performs the necessary quality checks on each batch of their authentic Antiguan coffee.
Ecosystem preservation and shade tree maintenance are extremely important to the plantation. Therefore, 10 hectares of land are preserved as untouched nature, allowing the biodiversity of flora and fauna to thrive without restriction.
