The first coffee processes on the farm date back to 2012, when Marvin bought the first small depulper on the farm and built several African beds where all coffee was 100% sun dried. The first single-species varieties Marvin encountered were Caturra and Millennium.

The name of the farm "Reina Elizabeth" is in honor of the previous owner of the farm, Elisa Alfaro Hidalgo (1928-2016), who was Marvin's mother. Doña Eliza had the most amazing blue eyes and in the town of San Luis the locals said that only a queen could have eyes like that, hence the nickname "Reina Elizabeth". Besides her blue eyes, she was also as kind as a queen.

Processing: Hand picking, floater sorting, depulping, drying with 100% pulp layer, drying on African beds and in a greenhouse for 12 days. Resting for 2 months in parchment, then peeling and sorting.
